What are your expectations from the event this year?
We are thrilled to be participating in this year’s edition of GITEX Global. We look forward to engaging with our local stakeholders and customers at the event. HP aims to be at the forefront of hybrid work, sustainability, AI and cybersecurity, and we are extremely privileged to be a part of the discussions that are shaping the region’s technology landscape.

It truly embodies our commitment to harness the power of AI to elevate productivity, enhance experiences, and secure a brighter future for businesses in the region and beyond.
Entering a transformative era, where AI is set to redefine the role of PCs much like the Internet fundamentally changed society, we are actively collaborating with software and silicon partners to drive a significant shift in computing, making PCs more intuitive, personal, and aware.
At this year’s GITEX Global, we cannot wait to showcase the work we are doing across the region, to support businesses and individuals as they navigate an ever-evolving technological space.
Do you plan to run any online engagements such as webinars and offline engagements such as tech talks, demos, keynotes, and so on, alongside GITEX 2023?
Mayank Dhingra, Senior Education Business Leader SEMA (Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa) at HP will be delivering a keynote around the “(R)evolution of Education”, on how educational innovation is evolving. improving existing models through digitalization, including blended learning and content digitization, and creating new paradigms like AI-driven personalization and boundaryless campuses with more disruptive changes including big tech-academia collaborations and esports, while transformational shifts envision Education as a Service (EaaS) models.
Cecile Tezenas Du Montcel, AI Business Development Lead EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa, at HP, will explore the power of AI in her “Do More with AI” presentation on how hybrid and decentralized AI infrastructure is the key to efficiency and speed, striking the right balance between cloud and edge computing, demonstrating AI applications in retail business and provide guiding principle to optimize AI infrastructure for each step of the workflow and each type of AI, harnessing HP’s workstation power, ideal for demanding processes from LLM, deep learning and up to generative AI.
How have your regional strategies changed in recent months?
This region has truly embraced hybrid working, and we at HP are committed to keeping hybrid workers connected, productive, and safe.
