The Astrum Wireless Headset HT380 is an over-the-ear headphone that comes with both wired and wireless connectivity. Inside the box, you get a pair of wireless headphones, along with the quick start guide, the micro USB charging cable, and a 3.5mm AUX cable.
The headphones are very lightweight at 200 grams, though the overall build quality could be better. The earcups are soft and the headphones themselves fit snuggly over the ears. Since they are lightweight, wearing them for an extended period felt comfortable.
The HT380 wireless headset connects to your PC, laptop, or smart devices through Bluetooth. To pair the headphones, switch on the device. During the pairing mode, the red and blue LEDs will blink simultaneously. Now look for “Astrum HT380” on the Bluetooth devices list and click on it to complete the pairing.
If it asks for a password to pair, simply enter “0000” and then press connect. The headphones have control buttons un the right earcup. You can use those controls to play/pause, go to the next/previous song, answer incoming calls, redial a number, and so on.
There is also an “M” button, which when pressed for 2 seconds will activate the Active Noice Cancellation feature. The headphones can be charged using the bundled micro USB cable. On a single charge, we got a playtime of around 8 hours – pretty good for using on your daily commutes.
The audio quality offered by the Astrum Wireless Headset HT380 was quite good. Highs, lows, and mids were on point and the bass was punchy, too. For a price of AED 110 (for 3-4 units) the Astrum Wireless Headset HT380 comes across as value for money.
